1. Well, I am hoping to renew an acquaintance here up North. Kit Fair. Went to his homecoming yesterday.
6. I'm working on another afghan, and I've crocheted a rug for my mom (pictures possibly coming, but don't count on it).
11. I am master chef at my house.
14. My mom and I pickled the beets out of our garden. And we're getting lots of beans right now. Tomatoes are coming on, and we've already enjoyed peas and lettuce. Still to come: potatoes, peppers, squash, onions, corn.
20. I read The Partly Cloudy Patriot by Sarah Vowell, and Brave New World Revisited by Aldous Huxley. I really recommend both books. I couldn't put either of them down. They make you think hard about the world we live in.
